Q) Could our house troubles get worse? A) Yes, actually

Well, our bathroom leak has finally been fixed, only after the water has destroyed our hallway carpet, most of the bathroom tiles, the paint in the study, as well as horrifying potential tennants! Luckily our insurance will cover the carpet, re-painting, damage done by the plumbers and some re-tiling. We are also getting new tiles in the toilet and laundry, new hallway carpet, plus a split-system a.c. in the bedroom - if it's not rented out with all that, we give up! Anyway, apart from that, all is good. Kylie and I went out on Section 2 of the Lara Trail to get some pics for the new trailheads recently. It was nice to get out for a walk in the bush to take our minds off things. Below is Arenge Bluff, and some of the Spinifex back-lit by the late arvo sunshine. Talk to you all later.

I saw that some of your best work had no comments so i had to comment. Bummer about the house, But really..who needs air-con in this weather?
will keep an eye (ear) out for anyone looking for somewhere to rent...
as for Kylie and europe..if Europe is so great, why do all the Europeans come out here? I notice we dont get any Cubans coming to Australia so what does that tell you about Cuba?

I’m so sorry to hear about all the damage the leak caused! That must have been one major leak to cause ruin to that many things! It’s a good thing the leak has finally been fixed. Here’s hoping that it stays fixed! We don’t want a faulty pipe causing potential tenants to change their mind about your beautiful house! It might be good to have a go-to plumber, just in case something happens again, someone that you trust that your tenants will be easily able to get a hold of.
